The Trombibone is a new acoustic instrument that allows brass to create multiphonic sounds.

The flute can produce multiphonic sounds. So can the clarinet, the oboe and the bassoon. But on a brass instrument, it was acoustically impossible.

They recorded a vast array of multiphonic sounds. Then, they selected and organized 2,789 unique samples into 91 chromatically playable playing techniques.
