Utiliator Plus

OVERVIEW

The Utiliator Plus is a compact Swiss Army Knife. It offers all the functions of the Utiliator plus some additional useful features, such as a signal generator.

Utiliator Plus Features:

• Polarity Switches.
• Mono Switch.
• Signal Generator (Stereo White And Pink Noise, A 440 Hz Tone).
• Bypassable Low-Cut Filter.
• Bypassable High-Cut Filter With Adjustable Resonance.
• Panorama Control.
• Gain Control.
• Test Mode.

Example applications:

• Turn on the signal generator and the two filters. Set the signal generator to white or pink noise. Then filter out some of the low frequencies with the low-cut filter and turn up the screw between the filters a good bit. Now you can use the high-cut filter to generate noise sweeps that are no longer audible when the filter is completely closed.

• If you want to calibrate your hi-fi system, click on the Utiliator Plus logo. Information about the product and a switch on the right called "Test Mode" will appear. Activate the switch. Now the signal chain starts with the signal generator, then goes into the mono switch, the polarity switches and finally into the amplifier section.
