Vexon ROAR is a modern bass tone processor designed to help bass sit in the mix with more weight, punch, clarity, harmonics, and control.

Built for bass players, producers, and mixing engineers, ROAR brings together dynamic shaping, harmonic coloration, low-end enhancement, transient definition, and parallel-style processing in one fast and musical workflow. It is designed for DI bass, amp-recorded bass, synth bass, bass bus processing, and creative low-end sound design.

ROAR is not just an EQ or a saturation plugin. It is a complete bass-focused tone shaping system designed to help you move quickly from raw bass to a finished, mix-ready tone.

Character Modes

ROUND is designed for smoother, warmer bass tones with a softer response and vintage-style low-end feel.

DEEP adds a thicker, more extended low-end character, useful for sustained bass lines, deep grooves, and sub-heavy production.

GROWL brings out midrange aggression, harmonic bite, and extra note articulation for rock, modern bass tones, and lines that need to speak through a dense mix.

TIGHT focuses on control, punch, and fast response, helping bass feel more locked-in, defined, and mix-ready.

Harmonic Modes.

TUBE adds smooth analog-style warmth and musical harmonic density.

TAPE gives a rounded tone with low-end glue and softer transient behaviour.

GRIT adds more aggressive bite and harmonic edge for bass that needs presence.

FUZZ pushes the harmonic engine into heavier creative saturation and distorted bass textures.

Bass-Focused Tone Controls.

ROAR includes dedicated controls for the areas that matter most when shaping bass. SUB and BODY help build weight and size, MUD helps clean up low-mid buildup, ATTACK brings out note definition, and FOCUS helps the bass stay audible on smaller speakers and in busy arrangements.

The HARMONICS and TONE controls allow extra upper harmonic information to be added and shaped, helping the bass cut through the mix without simply making the low-end louder.

Mono Sub and Sidechain Control

The Mono Sub section lets you keep the lowest part of the bass tighter and more centred, with selectable Off, 80 Hz, 100 Hz, and 120 Hz modes.

The Sidechain HPF slider helps control how much low-frequency energy drives the dynamic response, allowing smoother compression behaviour and more stable low-end processing.

Presets

ROAR includes more than 40 factory presets designed as practical starting points for mixing and tone shaping. Presets cover clean DI bass, warm vintage bass, modern rock, heavy growl, slap and funk, fretless-style tones, sub-heavy bass, and mix-ready bass processing.

Users can also save, load, overwrite, and manage their own presets directly inside the plugin.
