VitaliumVerb is a Rust port of the reverb module from the Vital/Vitalium synthesizer, allowing it to be used as an effect plugin. There are also a few minor improvements and optimizations added:

  • A stereo width parameter applied to the wet signal.
  • Tweaked parameter curves that focus better on the sweet spots.
  • Runtime-evaluated constants like filter coefficients, gain amplitudes, chorus phase increments, and allpass matrices are only recalculated when their respective parameters have changed (the original recalculated these every process cycle).

Made using the awesome NIH-plug plugin development framework.

Hi.
I'll make it short - _this_ is a winner. Absolutely fabulous reverb for everyday needs - at virtually _no_ CPU usage. So thank you for that.
One bug though and a hint:

[The below mentioned bugs both have been fixed in v 1.30]

Bug: In Studio One (v.7.2.2.107056, Win 10) the sliders after a certain time do not react anymore - same then goes for the mousewheel. I have to deactivate/reactivate the plugin, then it works again.
Hint: The label "Post Eq" is wrong, as the eq is not post, but (thankfully) in the feedback path of the reverb. So essentially you should call it "Hi/Lo Damping".

Other than that i can only repeat myself - an absolutely gorgeous, simple reverb for everything. So thanks again.

Thanks for your report! The issue with the UI becoming unresponsive has been fixed in version 1.3.0! I also tweaked the parameter group names like you suggested.

Hi Billy,
that's great to hear.
Just downloaded and checked the new version and i can report that the bug has been fixed. And you even renamed the eq accordingly. :)
Big thanks.
