VWinds - Double Reeds

Following on from the success of our VHorns libraries, we're delighted to announce that the first part of our brand new VSeries library, VWinds Double Reeds, is now available to purchase at our website.

Included in the 7-instrument collection are 2 Oboes, 2 English Horns, 2 Bassoons and 1 Contrabassoon. The complete bundle is available at an introductory offer of €149 until June 15th, and the instrument pairs (or single Contrabassoon) can also be purchased separately for €99.

Like the VHorns before them, VWinds incorporates our leading Harmonic Alignment Technology ('H.A.T.'), meaning that everything is modeled except the sound source itself, recorded by world-class instrumentalists. This gives you the unparalleled flexibility and responsiveness of a modeled library, combined with the authentic recorded sound of a live player.

VWinds Double Reeds features four different microphone positions, customizable performance techniques such as vibrato, growl/flutter, legato transitions, round robins, micro-tuning, and even control over each harmonic. It also features a brand new Virtual Space Designer, where you can place each instrument anywhere in an orchestral seating plan. Despite the advanced editing available in the interface, our core goal has always been to make hyper-realistic instruments that are easy to use, without having to worry about multiple CCs or key-switches.

To our ears, and hopefully yours too, this is the most realistic solo double reeds library on the market to date.
