WaveBalance - Auto Gain Staging

WaveBalance is an intelligent auto gain staging plugin that keeps tracks at a consistent operating level using transparent real-time loudness analysis and ultra-smooth gain control. Designed for mixing, production, and stem preparation, it helps compressors, EQs, saturators, and analog-modelled plugins behave more consistently while keeping sessions clean, balanced, and under control.

At the center of WaveBalance is a flexible level-management engine designed for both fixed and adaptive workflows. Hold mode lets users analyze a representative section of audio, apply the required correction, and lock that result for stable gain staging. Ride mode continuously adjusts gain in real time, making it useful for vocals, dialogue, bass, live recordings, and other sources with changing dynamics. Multiple measurement modes, including dBFS, VU, RMS, LUFS Momentary, LUFS Short-term, and LUFS Integrated, allow users to choose the level reference that best fits the job, from classic music gain staging to loudness-aware workflows.

WaveBalance also includes tools for larger sessions. A group workflow allows multiple
instances to be linked across related tracks such as drums, backing vocals, guitars, synth
layers, or imported stems. From the Group View, users can compare and adjust targets
across grouped tracks, while Link Overview allows selected parameters such as Target,
Response, Ceiling, and Threshold to stay synchronized where needed. Built-in headroom
protection provides a safety ceiling after gain correction, helping prevent corrected signals
from getting too close to clipping without turning the plugin into a mastering limiter or creative
dynamics processor.
