Yes, that is indeed correct for the free (Lite) version. The Pro version allows Commercial Use of Recordings, as well as having no timeouts, 12 track editing, multi-channel MIDI I/O etc.

Wotja 21.5.1 changes - about to be submitted for app review:

IMPROVED: The AUv3 now saves and restores state.
- the AUv3 saves the Mix or User album/playlist file name and latest data; when you restore the DAW project data, the mix / album / playlist (if any) is auto re-opened; but applying / using whatever data you last edited up to even if you hadn't saved your document.
- if your original document is no longer available, the data is copied to clipboard (so you can import it) and an alert is shown telling you what to do.

FIXED AUv3 (AUM, Logic etc.) properly set Tempo on opening mix to match DAW.

FIXED: macOS AUv3 window resizing now works nicely in Logic Pro.

IMPROVED: Settings -> Templates - added preview of the templates in this screen.

IMPROVED: Table scrollbar colour changes dynamically when colour scheme changes; no need to restart.

NEW (Android GP and AZ): Documents > Actions > Import to Documents/Wotja menu option to allow 'missing' Wotja files to be recovered via import from a temporary internal folder (to where they have been previously copied by the Android File Manager) allowing them to then display in Wotja Documents AND to make it easy to get Wotja files into your Android device (e.g. from Desktop).

- For details on the work flow required see How do I copy files (Wotja, audio, MIDI, SF2 etc.) into the 'Documents/Wotja' folder for use in Wotja?.

- Once all the Wotja files you want to keep are in the internal '/Documents/Wotja' folder then you should not need to use this mechanism again, UNLESS you uninstall/reinstall Wotja.

FIXED (Windows): A 'One Time Buy' purchase wasn't always restored (sorry, and big thanks from us to the customers who brought this to our attention); all you should need to do is to get/install the update, load Wotja and then your OTB purchase will be back again.

CHANGED (Windows): The Wotja VST3 plugin is now called Wotja.vst3 so please delete the old Wotja23.vst3 and in your DAW projects where you use that, replace it with the new Wotja.vst3.

IMPROVED: Changed Mix Recorder to "cook" in a background thread, rather than in the main UI thread, this speeding-up the "cooking" process.

Since we released the 23.14.0 update we discovered that Wotja 24 for macOS will need to have a base level macOS requirement of macOS 12 (Monterey) or later. There primary reason being the same for iOS, namely that we require support for StoreKit 2 and that is Apple's base level macOS requirement for that.

So, here are the updated Release notes.

IMPROVEMENTS
- Plug-ins: Audio Output Setting > Audio Device shows the sample rate and estimated latency
- Plug-ins: For better synchronization with other tracks in a DAW the estimated latency of the Plug-in is now reported to a DAW that supports that (e.g. Ableton Live 12)
- Plug-ins: Added Audio Output Setting > Audio Block Count (previously only available in non-Plug-in variants)
- Plug-ins: Audio Output Setting > Audio Block Count can now be set down to 2 (previous limit was 3; new default is 20) - only use such a low value if you're pushing for minimum audio latency and be aware that doing so might lead to some Wotja audio break-up issues, especially with CPU intensive content
- Android: You can now use Audio Output Setting > Audio Device to select an Audio device (if one is detected)
- Android: New menu item "Export (backup) from Wotja..."
- Android: After "Import (restore) to Wotja..." is selected, and you have completed the import, an alert is shown telling you how many documents have been imported
