Excellent little VSTi. As I love FM this really is a wonderful addition to what I already have. It is a pity that the DX emulators I have used are unable to compete with this plugin. The sound is very true to the original Yamaha synths and is exceptionally easy to use. (This may be a bit of a surprise when most people complain about how hard FM was to program in the original hardware versions)

Overall it is almost impossible to find a flaw with this VSTi. When it is finally released as a full version this will be a VSTi to obtain regardless of the cost.

A very Good VSTi for drum programming. The longer I have played with this thing the more impressed I am with its abilities. Of course there are problems, particularly as I use Cubase VST 3.7, it refuses to save bank information. While I am assured by Muon (the programmers of the SR-202) that this is the result of issues inherent in Cubase VST 3.7, it is a pain and the usefulness of VSTi would be vastly improved if this was remedied by Steinberg for those unable to purchase Cubase VST 5.x.

While the sounds of the preset banks are good, the power available to make new presets or alter the pre-existing ones makes it a worthwhile acquisition.

For those outside of the UK, particularly Australia, CM is becoming increasingly difficult to obtain. It would be an advantage if the SR-202 became available at some stage for free (or a small charge) download.

A very good sound module, the free piano is good, but the free Drum kit sounds wonderful with some use of the inbuilt fx. While it is obviously a promo tool to get us all to buy the full product, it is still very good.
It would be interesting to see how popular this would be if it was possible for users to make new presets.

Quite a good VSTi and I certainly haven't had any problems with it. While it is limited to Analogue sounds, these are very good and are capable of some wonderful basslines. Overall a very good VSTi.

The more I use this VSTi the more impressed I get. It is certainly easy to program and to get some really nice sounds out of it.

Not a bad little VSTi. However, while the drum sounds are editable, the Bass sound does not appear to be able to be edited. This would vastly improve the situation. Also there does not appear to be any regular method behind the key mapping of the drum kit, which is only accessible on channel 10. Not a bad effort with some interesting sounds, but it needs more work to be much more than a curiosity.
