I don't know why I've tested this plugin but I am glad that I did so.
Try it and you know what I mean. I never use it as a kick but in combination with filter, distorsion or some ringmod it is great for punchy percussions.
Some kits are really nice but many are boring and/or made out of very mediocre samples. After I had deleted all of them, the amount of occupied disk space is acceptable so that Beat DRMR is worth to keep.
Like others always wrote, the GUI is weird because of the tiny (but important) knobs with vertical (WHY?) labels and the giant (but useless) pads. I think it's all about the nice flashing the big pads do during playback...great to impress beginners. :D.
It is one of those one trick ponies but it does the job very well.
If something sounds kinda dull, try this and/or Roth Air...it could be enough.

Ok, you can get some really great sounds out of this thing but I am sure that I am not the only one, who keeps distance because the GUI is an optical mayhem. Like Matt Bianco sung: "It's more than I can bear!"
A nice toy with an easy to understand but oldfashioned GUI. The results are very usable. Give it a try, it's more fun than it may look like. :-)

A no brainer. All fx you will ever need in one pack. And it is a great pack because these plugins a very well designed, they sound good and have a very straight, nice looking GUI. And you can load tons of them in your DAW without stressing your CPU. Dead Duck - one of the best plugin developers out there.

These are usefull because they have a small CPU-footprint, they sound good and are very easy to use.
I use the 606 and the 808 quite often.

It is really a nice synth, capable of interesting, sometimes very harsh sounds.
I've used it in a few tracks but no longer. Just for one reason, the GUI is one of the ugliest things I've seen in my hole life. Sorry.
Without doubt the best free e-bass plugin you can find.
Before I bought Modo, I always used ABPL II if a realistic sounding bass was required.
Like all Solcito Plugins, Toom is a stable and serious Plugin. The Interface is well designed, so everybody should understand the workflow. Thanks to the 2 different synthesis methods (VA and Phase Modulation) it delivers a wide range of really good sounding, hard hitting kicks. At least you can even use it for some bass. The GUI is resizeable, I wish Gustavo would do this for Arido too.
And to all Synth-Newbies:
Take a look at Solcitos great "Synteacher A" app for learning analog synthesis.
