I've just loaded these sounds so I can't go into great detail about them, but my first impressions are this is a very usable and imaginative set as is its companion 'Chromazone'.
I had gone to AAS thinking of getting another sound set but felt like the Martin Walker set (as much as I love his sound design) might prove to be too redundant to his sounds I already have in Alchemy.
Something I love about the AAS Chromaphone and VS-1 is their ability to achieve a very ethnic soundscape rich in harmonic overtones and these soundsets seem to understand that in great strength.
I can tell already, these sets are a 'must have' for these instruments.
