VProm

Version reviewed: 3 on Windows

Unfortunately, I already bought a few software drum machines before this one. I could have saved myself all that money... If you're looking for something modern and clean, you might want to keep looking, but for retro fans, this is highly recommended. I have a lot of old drum machine sounds (Linn, 707, 505, ...). I can load them here, fine-tune them a bit, and they sound absolutely authentic. It's a lot of fun. :) (I know, for even more authenticity, original EPROMs are best) VProm also seems to work absolutely fine here in FL Studio. Thumbs up.

The best free synchronized oscilloscope. For me, it is a very helpful measuring tool for checking peaks. Also very pleasant to look at. Thanks for the great free version.

Atomika Synthesizer

I really like the filter in combination with the different drive settings. It reminds me a lot of an MS-20. You can build fat basses very quickly with Atomika and it sounds really nasty by nature. The only points of criticism and therefore a point deduction from my side: 1. the interface wastes too much space and 2. the phaser can't be mixed smoothly. But boy does this thing make noise;).

I bought it at V1.0 and thought it was pretty cool. Then came the update and they just added a disperser and a lot of other features. Now I'm really impressed. I can recommend it to anyone who wants to experiment with distortions and do creative sound design. I haven't looked at everything yet. There's quite a lot. Because of the extensive update, the fun I've had with it so far and the fact that the plugin runs stable without any problems here in FL, I give it full marks.

A chorus that is mono-compatible, sounds good and is also free. What else can you say except a full 5 stars. Thanks to the developers! I wish I had discovered Multiply earlier. I like to use it on bassline layers because there the phase is important to me.

I haven't had the plugin for long but it has already served me well. I used it on a synth bass before a distortion effect and was able to bring out the subtleties of the sound and the reaction to the distortion really well. It works perfectly and has ended up in my Darksynth template.

T-Force Zenith

Version reviewed: 1.0.1 on Windows

I have just installed the T-Force Zenith and almost fell off my chair. The sound is reminiscent of a JP-8000, so if you're still looking for one - take a look at this one. There are many different waveforms and you can even load your own, also a large selection of filters. There is also a chord mode. The House Organ preset is a good example. It all seems to run smoothly here in FL Studio. I would have liked a few more presets but the integrated ones are great. A beautiful synth, thank you for that.

Response from Mastrcode from Mastrcode Music on May 4th, 2024

Hi!
Thanks for your great review! I appreciate that.
I know, there're not much presets atm because i had nearly no time. But i'm now on the way to create more presets for the net update.

Thanks again!

Best Regards
Michael.

Finally a 303 emulation that does everything right! The sound is great, nice presets, a sequencer that is fun to program, nice distortion modes built in, ... AcidBox is very well thought out. I have no criticism and can highly recommend it.

Mercury-6 Synthesizer

Version reviewed: 1.0.5 on Windows

For me, the Jupiter-6 is somehow more interesting than the Jupiter-8. It has a completely different architecture. The plugin sounds very similar to the original, as I could tell from some YouTube videos. I like the sound and the "Roland sense of quality" comes through well. One star deduction because of the knobs, on which you can see the set value very bad. Otherwise, a powerful synthesizer that is fun and very versatile in the range of sounds. You can very quickly create good sounds with it.

VM2500 Collection For Voltage Modular

Reviewed By Fruitynator [all]
June 19th, 2023
Version reviewed: 1.0 on Windows

The oscillators and filters sound incredibly good and I am a big fan of the oscilloscope. If you want to turn your Voltage Modular into a spacey 70's sound lab, you're well served here. It's definitely fun and the quality is outstanding in my opinion, especially for the price. What you should know - the sequencer can be synchronized with the DAW tempo, but via detours. But this can be overcome and you can generally combine the VM2500 collection well with other modules.
