Nanopulse is a carefully designed, high-quality, advanced transient shaper. It's a very professional and musical mixing and sound design tool. I really like it for several reasons. First, the sound quality is great. The parameter structure and GUI are thoughtfully organized, with no unnecessary elements, and what's present is user-friendly. It requires minimal adjustments to achieve satisfying results quickly, which is crucial for the mixing process. With moderate use, drums become clearer and more pronounced in a natural and musical manner.
Apart from drums and percussion, this tool can yield excellent results on other sound sources where transient processing can be beneficial, such as arpeggiated acoustic guitar. This is really very good and useful tool for seamless sample looping. It can compete with Wavelab and Soundforge in this field. It has all the tools needed for that task, which is of such a nature that sometimes can be very tedious and challenging. Offering such a tool for free is very generous.
