Ear-grabbing sounds and presets from the start, in a flexible, multi-engine architecture, faithfully/meticulously-repro'd from a legend hardware synth's own circuit designs. (Softsynths rarely have it so good, despite the prices, hype or market saturation.) And all for a mere donation if you're generous, like The Usual Suspects. Have it straight-up or maybe paired or tripled with an additive resynth and/or physical modeling synth and disappear into the sound and leave the world's problems behind.

(Added this review because I can't seem to find my previous one. If it reappears, we'll delete this one.).
Top-notch and what we've come to expect from The Usual Suspects of course.
Also, IrishMoss' good points/review seconded.
If one does the least bit of reading or looking or asking around they'll get a clue, get a clue, get a clue, that the hardwares, along with the bins, periodically blow around and in with the wind and sometimes even get separated and end up on different curbsides, along with a little sign that says, 'Free'.

Seismic is surprisingly intuitive and fun to use and might even be underrated.
I have used hardware synths and so am less interested in emulation and more in more unique sounds and how they can 'reproduce' and evolve over time.
I'd put an extra star for Seismic if it weren't for a bug which is when I open a saved sound, the waveforms appear wrong, even though the sound is correct if I recall. (I am using Ardour 5.12 64-bit on Windoze 7.).
