Very extensive plugin, but slick, responsive and intuitive. Great v.1 product, with no major hiccups with a day and a half of solid use with a variety of VST instruments. The developer is responsive, and keen to give the best product he can. I bought this for use on my desktop PC which has a decent amount of power. I thought my laptop, which is recent, but just pretty basic, might struggle with a plugin like this that hosts VST's, but it works great with no degradation in performance. The plugin itself is very musical with the results it produces, and has a huge amount of flexibility under the hood.

SWAM Violin

Delivery was instant, which has not been my experience with other vendors when buying SWAM, so great job KvR. SWAM instruments are just so playable and intuitive, it really sets them apart. I'm a big fan of physical modeling done right, and that's exactly what SWAM is. The player nuances are so much more natural than samples, so while they might not quite reach the sonic beauty of the best samples, played by the best players, their organic nature makes up for any slight deficiency. They are versatile to play a multitude of different types of spaces, different styles of playing. Not a fan of the electric patches (I hate electric violins in general), but the other three models sound great, and make it easy to put together a varied section that plays as an ensemble.

B-3 V2

I think the first B3 VI I ever used was Arturia... this was when it was in its very early days, and I'm pretty sure it was free. I eventually moved to Native Instruments organs, but never felt the B3 sounded authentic. Too sterile and cold. Adding distortion didn't help. I recently bought Arturia's synth collection, and assumed that the B3 would sound just like the NI one. Boy was I surprised. THIS is what a B3 sounds like. Warm, smooth, beautiful. I don't know what Arturia is doing, but they certainly have a way of making their synths sound authentic. I love the sound of everything I've tried out of their synth collection.
