Version reviewed: 2.02 on Windows
Version 2 was released in July 2025!
No idea why it's not in the KvR news & database.
From the DDMF email (04.07.2025):
"Virtual Audio Stream v2 released!
... it was about time to update the drivers for Virtual Audio Stream as they had become incompatible with the latest Windows security requirements and were also stuck at 44.1 kHz/ 16-bit. Hence, please welcome V.A.S. v2! We now have 4 lines of in- and output drivers with 8 channels each, running at 192 kHz and a bit depth of 32. Also, latency should be better than with the previous version."
