PRIPYAT Pianos - Coming Soon
They were silent for 30+ years.
In early 2016 we had our final trip to take the last portion of material that we've been collecting for previous 3 years - recording pianos in Pripyat, the city abandoned after nuclear disaster in April 26, 1986.
30+ years of radiation and weather conditions destroyed all the pianos, giving their sound a special shade. You will experience sound from various pianos that was recorded in different places of the Pripyat City. We've recorded several instruments and took special time to record IR samples in various buildings of The City, so that you can choose from huge list of environments to play.
Library will be ready by the end of 2016 so stay tuned.
