Retrospect — Curve Driven Time Warping KVR Developer Challenge 2026
Retrospect captures incoming audio into a rolling buffer, then replays it through a curve you draw — a curve that maps *real time* to *read position*. A flat line is passthrough. Bend it, and time bends with it. The slope of the curve is the instantaneous playback speed: flat freezes, steep skips, downhill reverses. Lock it to your host's tempo grid, or re-trigger it on every transient so each hit gets its own warp. Freeze. Stutter. Reverse. Scramble. All from one curve, in perfect sync, every cycle. VST3 · AU · CLAP · LV2 — macOS, Windows, Linux Built by Conceptual Machines for the KVR Developer Challenge 2026.
