Chicken Systems announces Kontakt Assistant and Translator 6 updates

Chicken Systems has announced imminent updates for Kontakt Assistant (Mac and Win; 0.9 Build 74) and Translator 6 (Mac and Win; 6.0 Build 23).

The updates will be publicly available on December 1st, 2013. Interested owners can request the updates privately by emailing support@chickensys.com. Upon release, registered owners can update from their programs using the Check for Updates function, or merely by starting Kontakt Assistant or Translator 6.

The Kontakt Assistant update includes the following features and fixes:

  • Now reads and writes Kontakt 5.1, 5.2 and 5.3 generated files.
  • Improved database speed.
  • Now can multi-select entries outside the current selection.
  • Improved Bank/Multi Builder, Reference Manager.
  • New Feature: Proportional Normalize.
  • Fixed small issues (extmod referencing intmod with modtable).
  • Fixed minor issue reading certain 24-bit AIFF mono files.
  • Fixed some start up errors (Windows only).
  • Better Mavericks support.
  • Product Video Overview now available.
  • General Maintenance.

The Translator 6 update includes the following features and fixes:

  • [ALL] Now reads and writes Kontakt 5.1, 5.2 and 5.3 generated files.
  • [ALL] Now handles corrupt Reason NNXT .sxt files generated by Redmatica's KeyMap program.
  • [ALL] Suppresses Terminal when opening in Mavericks or Mountain Lion.
  • [ALL] Fixed small Kontakt-> issues (extmod referencing intmod with modtable).
  • [ALL] Fixed minor issue reading certain 24-bit AIFF mono files.
  • [ALL] Interprets the MPC oneshot parameter, writes MPC2000XL better.
  • [ALL] Optimized reading and writing proprietary disks.
  • [ALL] Fixed some start up errors (Windows only).
  • [NI] Improved Giga->Kontakt.
  • [ROLAND] Includes Release Triggers in Roland Fantom programs.
  • [SAMPLETANK] Fixed Prompt for TankName and writes FX better.
  • [ALL] General Maintenance.
