The threshold adjustment combined with an analyzer should win an award for the best compressor UI.

The upwards compression is hard to see in the analyzer, the contrast is too low.

Adjusting the mix setting has no visual effect on the analyzer.

The compress knob is quite confusing and has limited working range:

• 0-10% the compressor does not seem to be working at all.
• 60-100% seems to apply the same or very similar ratio for downwards compression.
• 100% downwards compression does not work as a hard limiter.

Some inspiration could be taken from "Spectral Compressor" by Robbert van der Helm, which is open sourced:

• The ratio adjustment provides better usability than the compress percentage used here.
• The upwards and downwards controls are separated.

Despite all the nitpicks, this is the most user friendly compressor for those who appreciate visual assistance.

This is a very good sounding downward/upward compresor. The UI is so cool. It would be great to have some peak reduction indicator. I really recommend checking it.

This plugin is pretty much perfect to me. and works exceptionally well with minimal CPU usage on my CPU and I have a dinosaur of computer! I didn't give it 5 stars for two reasons:

1)There is a bug in this one and the other plugins by Outobugi that have a color adjustment bar where saving presets in Reaper doesn't act right. Color schemes do not save correctly and this affects other instances of the plugin on other tracks...

2) No auto gain correction. If this gets AGC added it over!!.

I can honestly say I love these plugs but it would be nice to get some basics colors (blue, red, green, yellow) and less on the pastels but they'll still be replacing some of my paid ones!.

Quite possibly one of my most used effect plugins. It is extremely simple and because of that, it makes creating modulation effects really easy. It features a very simple set of controls for panning and volume modulation, and can be right clicked to create automation clips directly in FL Studio, which I very much so appreciate.

This plugin is, in my honest opinion, one of the best free stereo imager you can get. It creates no phase issues, is simple, fast, and versatile, and also has an incredibly good looking UI, like all plugins by this developer.

Works as expected; simple, straightforward. A lack of presets is the only reason I don't give 5 stars.

Super neat drum effect. The names on the individual modulations maybe don't quite match the effect, but this plugin allows for infinite ways to bring your drum track to life. This especially applies to synth based drum sounds. Just a couple of presets included, but because there are such a variety of drum sounds available, it is a simple matter to come up with your own modulations. It is particularly useful in the punch category making any individual sound stand out.

Not useful if you are trying to emulate a real acoustic sound. The artificial overwhelms.
