I might even go to 5 stars later but I haven't had time to try ALL the many combinations that it offers.
Very useful as a combined Bus comp and Limiter.
Handles sidechaining easily.

Looks like it would do well on the Master Bus, but I haven't used it there yet.
It's a good plugin, and crazy affordable.

To be honest, I don't quite get why a MIDI note-called sequence cannot just start right from its beginning exactly when it receives this note. Instead, it starts somewhere in the middle apparently counting when the next multiplication of a 4/4 bar is expected. Maybe I'm doing something wrong or maybe that's the way it works, but why?

Extremely pleased with this plug-in! Once I figured out how to use it with my DAW (Studio One) it was very obvious how useful it would be! Disclaimer: I am incredibly rusty as a player so this tool helps me take my ideas and compose quickly compared to all the hours of practice I would need otherwise. Love the interface as much as the concept.

Despite already having several compressors, I've settled on this plugin. My primary use is compressing bass with sidechain from drums. Maybe it's just my personal but I haven't been able to achieve my desired result as quickly with any other plugin because the attack, hold, release and threshold work exactly as I expect and I don't have to spin all the knobs for 30 minutes to get the right bass pump. Additionally I like the large controls and ability to input precise values. Did not notice any saturation as well.

I use it on the Master in FL Studio and it harmonizes with the Fruity Limiter very well and also runs stable all the time. The intelligent algorithms bring a really nice boost to the mix, especially the Limiter with additional Tape Saturation.

Venomode = great plugins, great support and linux friendly!!! I'm going to buy all their products.

Really good sounding plugin, cpu-friendly and well-looking. I use it in the mastering path on mixbus 32c...great.
