Hi Charlie, maybe you should try the 3 mono modes in the demo version to see if they meet your needs/desires.

Yeah i tried it! The mono low key is the closest to what i wanted (old moog behaviour i guess). Never owned a real analog.. Well, if you don't count the sidstation. (a proud owner)

Legato is a must have for my playstyle. Love when you make those bass/lead lines with some legato in it. And i guess the real synthix diden't have all those mono modes. Great job by Xilslab

it sounds very lush!

From Xils newsletter : V 2.0.1 released today : 2.0.1 release notes :

*40 new presets created by Andy Medforth (who released a bank for our miniSyn'X synthesizer: Radiate)

*Layer/Voice allocation : new blue led for the Sequencer Voices (makes it much more easy to see which voices are used by the sequencer)

I just tried exporting the MiniSynx bank and importing it into Syn'x 2 - I thought they were patch compatible but it didn't import the whole bank and some patches give me a PWM error.

If you have the MiniSyn'X the miniWork's soundbank ( ie factory content of minisyn'x) should appear in your account, ready to be imported into the Syn'X 2 Stephen.

OK thanks - I thought it was the same bank anyway - on the site it says

It is identical to the miniSyn’X factory Library.

miniSyn’X Sound Engine being 100% compatible with the Syn’X 2, the presets are therefore 100% compatible with the Syn’X 2

Nice! Congrats. When I bought miniSyn'Z 2.5 the email said "Notes : All MiniSyn'X will be eligible to upgrade to the Syn'X 2" but I am not seeing anything on the site about an upgrade path. What is the upgraded path terms and how do we get it?
