What I think is even cooler is how the Waldorf rocket does it.davidv@plogue wrote: ↑Wed Aug 07, 2019 5:34 pmI'll try in Live later, but I think I get the idea now. It plucks the _same_ chord you initially hit over and over again rhythmically? If so... that's not really an arpeggiator anymore, but it would surely be fun. I'll think about itperpetual3 wrote: ↑Wed Aug 07, 2019 3:41 pm So, instead of playing individual notes, the arp will play the chord itself. It’s called “chord hit,” or “chord retrigger”.
Essentially in one of its modes you can have the arp play and have one knob let you cycle through preset chords that are created based on the current note the arp is playing.
It's the only synth I know that has the possibility to actually play arpeggiated chords.
Just thinking about your chipsynths being able to play chords as arpeggios which are actually chords themselves ..... hmmm
Modulating the arp's chord knob makes it possible to create chord progressions from one single arpeggiated chord.
Maybe, maybe in plogue's future?
