I'm late to the party but I just picked up last month's CM. Looking forward to trying the stripped-down version of Phonec!

Post

I'm very interested with this one also.
Please don’t read the above post. It’s a stupid one. Simply pass.

Phonec2 is quite a (humble) synth. Not bragging the big leagues but certainly having an excellent character on its own. Echomelt is also quite useful. The main title in the signature below, about the hopping rhinos, has Phonec2 as lead and bass.

Cheers.

The best of the underdog.

I just downloaded this one because of both it and THORN. I love the synth! It does just what it is advertised to do. I have always used PM plugs and love Cerebrum and Metatron as well. Thanks Jack! On another note, I have always loved the PM Gui look. I feel that it matches the sound quite well.

If you got the free CONSTRUCT drum synth, it has exactly the same look with exactly the same retro feel/sound to it.

What are limitations of CM version?

Post

Limits=
4 voice of polyphony max
Less Presets
Some of the parameters for the Chorus & Melt are left out
LFO 3 & Aftertouch controls are left out
Some filters are left out
Preset Manager is more robust in paid version

I think that's it, but I could be wrong.
