what do you mean not working? maybe you had a gateway error? does this persist? should be no issues, things are smooth all day as far as we know.

Seems to be working now. Couldn't get it to open before. Like the idea of this. Is it possible to load my own wavetables?

oh yes of course! look in the manual on page 7, it is very easy to do

if you would like to save the device with your own loaded wavetables, you can "save as..." as a new nki, and then its Pathfinder with your own ammunition

but, we must say, the wavetables it comes with, we think, are pretty amazing already

Regarding loading tables, and some fun wavetable info in genera (from the manual)l:

Wavetables are a great way to provide for a varied oscillator source. The first interesting thing about wavetables is that they allow a synthesizer to provide for an assortment of unique waveshapes as the oscillator source. The second interesting thing is the ability to sweep across the wavetable, thus “morphing” from one cycle to another creating dynamic sonic textures. While these two characteristics are very interesting to explore, they are somewhat at odds with each other. A wavetable consisting of many unique cycles will produce a strange and incoherent sound when aggressively swept across the cycles, while a great morphing wavetable will often consist of many cycles that are only slightly different from each other. For this reason Pathfinder WT includes both types of wavetables - tables consisting of a vast assortment of interesting and unique cycles as well as tables consisting of specially constructed morphing tables.

The Pathfinder WT - Kontakt Wavetable
The Kontakt wavetable mode expects cycle sizes of 2048 samples and allows loading wavetable files with up to 100 cycles. Loading an alternative wavetable is easily done though Kontakt’s mapping editor, available when the instrument’s edit mode is enabled. Within the mapping editor, odd numbered groups represent the wavetable choices on oscillator A and even numbered groups represent the choices on oscillator B. Simply right-click on the wave file in the mapping editor and select “exchange sample” to load a new wavetable file to the oscillator in the desired slot.

guys some confusion seems to have arisen - for this plugin you DO NOT need the full version of Kontakt!!!!!!!!!

All you need is the FREE Kontakt Player from Native Instruments. This is an encoded library and will run EITHER on the free player or on the full Kontakt.

Pathfinder WT Activation and Installation:
- Download Pathfinder WT from your user area at the Ocean Swift site and unzip to Native Instruments content folder.
- Register your Pathfinder WT serial in Native Instruments Native Access for Product Activation.
- Point to Pathfinder WT library location within Native Access.
- Make sure either Kontakt 6 or Kontakt 6 Player is installed through Native Access.
- Installation is complete and Product will show up in KK / Maschine / Kontakt's Library Tab.
