I've made a pdf of delay settings using the Volca Drums' Wave Guide Tune parameter. It can be downloaded here: https://prodrumteacher.co.uk/resources/ ... ttings.pdf

before you do:
have you tried it with pajen's new firmware (v1.08rc) and Dexed ?
patches are received faithfully now, which makes a big difference, as does velocity reception, modwheel functions etc. - goes very well with the Sample.
btw: there's a hacked firmware for the Volca Bass as well now: velocity and Slides on MIDI out, if you've done the MIDI out mod.
also waiting for a public release of the hacked Sample firmware.

It is in Finland.. There are those but asking prices are so stupid that it's more worth to buy a new one.

Yes I know about the hacked FM firmware and I'm waiting for the official Sample one too, lazily reading the GS thread once in a while.mztk wrote: ↑Sat Dec 28, 2019 4:25 pmbefore you do:

I just haven't clicked with the ui and I'm fine on dx200 plus patchbase combo, I don't play keys with those boxes so I was mostly ok with the issues.
I'm uncertain about the Sample hack, if it's too keyboard oriented I'll skip that too. I prefer buying a second unit in order to get less crazy with all the samplesets swapping, one for drums and one for pr0n.
I even made a midi Reaktor patch, editor plus the chromatic triggering option, it can be found in N.I.s library with the MidiPosse name.
Didn't know about the Bass hack sending slides out though, you really made my day. Yes my bass is midi modded

But you're the one who said "save up about €100 more and you can buy something 10,000 better"... So you posted that but don't actually know of a synth for 100 more that's 10,000 times better?MeneerJansen wrote: ↑Thu Dec 05, 2019 2:47 pmHa ha. Yes I do: Korg Monologue, UNO Synth, UNO Drum, Arturia Microbrute, Arturia Microfreak, etc. All about 100 Euro more than the average Volca (which costs approx 140 Euro).Russell Grand wrote: ↑Thu Feb 06, 2020 4:33 amBut you're the one who said "save up about €100 more and you can buy something 10,000 better"... So, nothing '10000 times better' and nothing modular either.MeneerJansen wrote: ↑Thu Feb 06, 2020 1:53 pmYes I do: Korg Monologue, UNO Synth, UNO Drum, Arturia Microbrute, Arturia Microfreak, etc. All about 100 Euro more than the average Volca (which costs approx 140 Euro).Russell Grand wrote: ↑Thu Feb 06, 2020 4:33 amBut you're the one who said "save up about €100 more and you can buy something 10,000 better"... Good call, especially on the Microfreak and the Monologue.MeneerJansen wrote: ↑Thu Feb 06, 2020 1:53 pmYes I do: Korg Monologue, UNO Synth, UNO Drum, Arturia Microbrute, Arturia Microfreak, etc. All about 100 Euro more than the average Volca (which costs approx 140 Euro).Russell Grand wrote: ↑Thu Feb 06, 2020 4:33 amBut you're the one who said "save up about €100 more and you can buy something 10,000 better"...
