Nothing to hear here folks. The sum of its parts fell into a black hole. On paper it all looked good but one of the most boring songs I've ever written. Listen to the track before it. It's much better.

Falling On Deaf Ears

You can crow, you can scream
Conjure nightmares out of dreams
But I don't hear you anymore

You can rant, you can rave
You can pray your soul to save
But I don't hear you anymore

Nothing that you say or do
Will make me pay attention to you

Your words are falling on deaf ears
I'm sick of all your fears
Your negativity just brings me down
Your words are falling on deaf ears
I'm sick of all your tears
The way you act makes you look like a clown
I'm sick to death
So save your breath
Your words are falling on deaf ears

You can bitch and you can moan
You can growl and you can groan
But I don't hear you anymore

You can frown and you can pout
You can cuss and you can shout
But I don't hear you anymore

Repeat Pre Chorus And Chorus

Time to shut your trap
Sick of all your crap
I'm not gonna take it anymore

Instrumental Break

Repeat Chorus

You should title it: Falling on tone deaf ears.
Its should be no surprise to you that the singing in the track makes it unbearable to listen to after 30 seconds. Any untrained ear or trained ear knows this. These tracks on an album or not is not going anywhere but this long KVR thread you've seem to continue on and on and on with turning KVR forums into a joke. What are you hoping for? When are you going to wake up and realize whatever dream you have, is a fantasy?
LMAO. I guess you must be bored with this Corona Virus and having nothing to do but come in here and get on MY case.

FTR, I was signed to a contract by a rock group with a pretty big following in Europe and Asia. Their distributor is out of Germany. They went into the studio this month to begin working on our album which will feature some of my songs. They expect it to be finished sometime this year or early next year. They make a considerable amount of digital sales so I should be getting a decent royalty check within a year or two.

In short, you can't get to me with your negativity anymore. I have finally made it as an established songwriter and will be making money in this business.

In the meantime, I will continue posting my music here for anybody who wants to listen to it. And there is absolutely NOTHING you can do to stop me.

Now, don't you have better things to do than get on MY case?

Have a nice life.

Nice song. You didn’t ask for it, but with your style of singing, I hear some double track vocals and maybe a little shoegaze treatment. Something kind of spaced out.

Congrats on your signing!

No I don't want to stop you. But in fact you need a reality check. I was too late to update my comment before you saw it because I did sort of feel bad after making it...but man you are delusional.

Delusional? No, not at all. In fact, I know all my shortcomings as a musician.

1. I can't sing for shit. And getting older, voice is getting worse.

2. Even with a click track I can just about keep a beat. My timing is terrible.

3. My lyrics are pretty lame. Publishers have told me for years that my lyrics were holding me back from getting a record deal.

4. My mixing has improved but I'm still nowhere close to being a professional in that area.

Yet, in spite of all that, this group heard my songs and liked them enough that they felt THEY could do them justice and signed me to a song writing contract. That's the reality. Whatever you may think of my talent or lack thereof, I've finally gotten the recognition I've been looking for since I began writing 43 years ago.

Nothing YOU say can take that away from me.

27th track from my upcoming double CD "2020"

Well, it's musically better than the last piece of crap I did. Unfortunately, my singing on this one is also pretty bad. I think I'm losing what voice I had. I may go back to doing Vocoloid songs. Anyway, arrangement is good on this. Very hooky tune. In fact, it's kind of one hook after another. Just needs somebody who can really sing. That ain't me.

No Going Back

They popped the cork today
It can't go back inside
That's right it's what I say
Now go and run and hide
In traffic I will play
Come join me for the ride

Everything's gone to hell
You and me might as well
Maybe you just can't tell
This is where everything ends

Much as I want to return
There is one thing I have learned
Play with some fire get burned

And when all is said and done
There's no going back
We can catch fire from the sun
There's no going back

They said we'd feel the pain
Oh yeah they did not lie
I'm standing in the rain
I know I'm gonna die
You suffer then you gain
Oh baby me oh my

Repeat Pre Chorus & Chorus

Follow me down the rabbit hole
Who knows where it's gonna go
This world you know it's just for show
So let's call it a night

Don't Look Now...
Just when I needed cheering up!
@0:47 Very nice piano arp
@1:25 Like the use of the 'Ah's' and the Ooos.
@1:45 good guitar solo
Funny one this one, because the chord progression/arrangement is kind of upbeat, but the subject matter was very serious. But as always you seem to make it work!
Well done.

Falling...
Verse arrangement, I'm not a fan, it seems to need something to 'drive' it on; seems like its wading through mud.
However, the chorus I really like, "Your words are falling..."
Very earthy lyrics! You know I'm a fan of your lyric writing!

Overall, enjoyable listening again.

Thanks for the listen and the feedback. Going To Hell I liked. Falling, well, it just falls flat like I said. Probably should have scrapped it but I don't scrap songs, so...there it is. Warts and all.

Hopefully, I'll get out of my funk soon.

I understand how you feel, sometimes this happens with me when I make songs.
Your song is very nice though. It reminds me of ‘Crocodile Rock’.
Many paid and free VSTs as well as Kontakt libraries. As well as HW synths/drum machine and acoustic instruments.

28th track from my upcoming double CD "2020"

Had a blast doing this obvious genre spoof.

Are We Not Tikno

Are we not Tikno

Robots are marching
See them marching along
See them in their cars now
Cars now

Robots are singing
Hear them singing their song
Hear them in the bars now
Bars now

They will take over us all
Just beware or you just might fall
The gods they call
Are we not Tikno

Robots are plotting
See them plotting up late
See them in their domes now
Domes now

Robots are scheming
See them scheming our fate
See them in their homes now
Homes now

Repeat Chorus

Tikno...Is there no place to go
Oh I just don't know
The end it won't come slow
Are we not Tikno

Instrumental Break

Robots are winning
See them winning the war
See them in their tanks now
Tanks now
Robots are grinning
See them grinning some more
See them saying thanks now
Thanks now

Repeat Chorus

29th track from my upcoming double CD "2020"

Wanted to do something with a bit of an edge. Turned out to be a jagged edge. Enjoy! Or not.

Set Me Straight

Down the crooked and narrow
I fly off like a sparrow
What I need is Clarence Darrow
To set me straight

Been a bad boy my whole life
Cut you up with my big knife
What I need is to be free from strife
To set me straight

My head it's quite contrary
I sing like a canary
My mind it's sure one hairy place

Can't you hear the folks holler
Kick their mom for a dollar
Need the cops to make a collar
To set me straight

Been in trouble for ever
Cause I think I'm so clever
Need my bad brain to sever
To set me straight

Repeat B Section

Instrumental Break

Repeat Verses 4 and 2
