Hey there,

So I thought I'd put this here. This is a soundtrack to a documentary I worked on last year, about the plight of medicinal cannabis users in Australia. The temp music score was a bunch of somewhat obscure ambient/electronic music from the early 2000s. Think Susumu Yokota, that sort of thing.

I only had 2 1/2 weeks to do it. I never really put it out there previously as I wasn't happy with it given the time restraints and not being able to attend to the mixes too much but hey ... it is what it is. Scores don't always make for the best listening exeprience outside the picture its intended for, but I've recently come to appreciate it more. Almost no drums, with the exception of the occasional overbearing kick, which is somewhat unusual for me :)

The doco is on certain streaming sites out there.

Enjoyable, chilled listen, but very much in that atmospheric, soundtrack zone.

Might me interesting to develop them with some lead lines?

Yeah, the mixes do have some issues at times... That often happens under time pressure, but they work.

I did. The director didn't want them 😂
