Feature request/idea: Context looping, improve transport controls

I like how RapidComposer allows you to create an overall structure of a song instead of the plain linear view. However, it would be nice if the looping function was somehow controllable to a segment in the same way.
I suggest right click on a segment (like a line or a verse, or the whole composition), and select "Loop this", or similar. Then the transport control's looping will be restricted to looping that part. A small loop icon should show on the looping part of the structure.
Space bar should then start from loop begin, I think, in addition to stopping, like it currently does.
Just an idea, it's quite cumbersome to work with the current transport controls.

I think that is a good idea.
You know that you can left click and then shift-left click in the time line to select a range to play using the play range option above the loop button?
Then hitting ENTER starts playing from the start of the selected range.
I guess it's a bit inconsistent to how it works when no range is selected but it does it for me...

Yes, this is a good idea, and very easy to implement.

I noticed a little odd playhead behavior, nothing major: http://screencast.com/t/aQtdUyeMbJ

Actually, the playhead behavior is pretty useless right now. It should (in my opinion) move to the beginning of the loop when clicking the stop button twice if looping is enabled.
EDIT: Disregard this post, it actually behaves that way now. Operator error.
