Came across this on the Hosts & Applications forum and wondered whether anyone on here has tried it with Waveform yet.

Just watched the video of running a 32bit plugin in 64bit Cubase and it look straight forward enough. Dunno what the latency would be like but it's worth a try?

Update: Just tried it with a 32bit synth and seems to be working in Waveform 10 perfectly...

Good to know. Did you run it as a network-based synth, or all on a single Windows box using the loopback IP address?

I found it worked fine as a loop back within Waveform, but never used it with more than one 32bit vst at a time, so don't know how it works with multiple instances. Documentation is light but you can figure out. I had no latency issues.

Alas, its biggest contribution to my workflow was revealing that I really don't need my old vst collection any longer, but your mileage will vary.
Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, and even Deezer, whatever the hell Deezer is.

I have about 4 that I don't really have the equivalent in 64-bit...

SQ8L - my ESQ-1 finally died - but all the patches work fine in this
SFZ - simple player, but it was small and worked ; but most of the "goto" patches have equivalents in Collective now

I used the loopback. Thought that would be the best approach.

Update: Tried it over the network and used 2 instances (NetVST program opened twice and two NetSynth VSTs on each track in my DAW) with 2 different instruments and again worked flawlessly so far. All I did was make sure that the ports had different IDs.

Hello, I developed a VST bridge based on NetVST(http://netvst.org/ (http://netvst.org/)), and named it TBridge,See here~~~
