Ok,
I've managed to catch the bug - 100 % reproducible for me.
Process:
1. Start MuLab
2. Load 2 instances of Modelonia beta (wherever they are it doesn't matter)
3. Open GUIs of both instances (or move the opened ones so they doesn't overlap)
4. Set focus to the 1st instance's GUI.
5. Without changing window focus (don't click on the 2nd instance's GUI) click the "X" button to close the 2nd instance.

Exception happens at the moment of clicking "X" = instant crash.

Interesting thing that the same happens in x64 as well.

Hello dwsel,

cant confirm (win 7, 32 bit, mulab 6.5.33, latest modelonia 2 beta). Did exactly what you said: opened new mulab project, made 2 racks with an instance of modelonia in it, opened both windows, clicked on the second x, just closed as it should, evrything else is fine.

Dont mean that much, my problems I had with the presets in mulab/modelonia 1.7 could not be verified from evrybody else the same.

Just to get sure: have you checked all the possible win 7/administrator/rights problems ?

Hope Luigi could reconstruct on his system and find a solution.

many thanks for the detailed reports, they really help, I hope to reproduce the issue and fix it during the weekend. For Sunday or Monday I should have an update, hold on.

The difference from one PC to the other could be version of the Windows graphic library intalled, the GDI+.

Yup, running as admin, antivirus off, and I keep all the VST plugs out of Program Files folder - all the same. Any other things to try you might have in mind?

Ok, another crash report.
Description: rapid attack with Program Change and CC causes Modelonia to Crash. Software: MuLab 32bit. Test project attached - playback of the project = 100% crash.

For the others, I checked more bugs with dwsel,

here is an update for Windows which fixes at least 3 bugs we found.

oops.
using the parameter/settings mutate feature in bidule caused a crash:

no idea if this is helpful!?

all in all a great plugin
capable of so strange hybrid sounds.

i won't have the time to participate to the contest so i'll have to scrape/economize...

Please replace your Modelonia 2.0 beta DLLs.

Windows_DLLs_build_25 was bad with crackling noise and cpu spikes due to the HP filter per voice
I added, which is not suitable for oversampling.

Now in this Windows_DLLs_build_29 I simply removed it, so you must fillter the subbasses yourself
with an external equalizer.

Obviously next release will use a better HP filter I will design meanwhile.

Still on, possibly until Modelonia 2.0 release.

We are preparing another public beta run. With bugs fixed and improvemens.

Nope, very few so far, but we'll have a "round two" with the new beta with many bugs fixed, next weeks.
