Try this one, its very basic but stays within the guidelines i made up:

/Michael
EDIT: all left to do is add OSC 4 with a string pad and its more or less same setup as initial example.

and this is how MK_MoreMSEG came out after fitting OSCs and Filters to the 4 MSEG's settings:

Turning MSEG4 upside down also produced something nice reverse like but that belongs in another setup.

Here's one:
http://teksonik.googlepages.com/Mseg-Tek-02.h2p
Too busy for polyphonic play but makes a good template for "one finger" patches by simply changing the note values in each MSEG.

It'd be great if the next version of Zebra would include some 'basic' MSEGs
Maybe some of these

Hey you're right that is pretty cool. What waveform are you using for the LFO and what amount do you use on TuneModDepth? I'm trying the User waveform but I need to tweak it to more musical values.sinzero wrote:on that patch i've been playing with an LFO on Osc1 TuneModDepth (or any Osc). makes cool harmonies and rhythms

This one is special super trance thou a BIT DATED. Infact it could probably be the mother of all trance. Embrace the unique sound of Crazy Ivan:

This arrangement reuqires some skill because i had to use 2 fingers.
You can try for your self:

BTW. I used the retro drumkit i made public a few weeks ago.

Now with the talk about trance, well Crazy Ivan is a good joke but then i had this crazy idea... what if i added some dance drums, suddenly the joke turned into something that could pop out of the radio anytime. The re-mix is the worst ever but the general idea get thru, very scary

lfo waveform: sqr lo-hiTeksonik wrote:What waveform are you using for the LFO and what amount do you use on TuneModDepth?
TuneModDepth: I leave it at 12
results depend on the pitch being held. Try these while holding an F1:
lfo3
depth: 36
amp: 40
rate: 200
sqr lo-hi
2/1
depth: 60
amp: 50 (unison); 60(minor); 64 (major)
rate: 200
sqr lo-hi
2/1

here are 2 variations on teksonik's patch (Mseg-Tek-02.h2p). right click and save as
Mseg-Tek-02-minor
mp3
Mseg-Tek-02-major
mp3
they work with any held pitch (ostinato-like). I made 2 basic changes besides adding lfo3 on TuneModDepth...
TuneModDepth: 15
MSEG 1: GATER Hard 8ths (off) preset
