Whenever i automate or MIDI control something in any u-he plug, the animation is jerky on playback (or on midi control)
this is for every single u-he plug i own
why is MIDI input/automation jerky?

Serious question: Because we update the UI upon each instance of receiving a MIDI and/or automation event, the only way I can think of to making the animation smoother is to slow it down (i.e. make it less timing accurate). If others do that, I'd like to try it out before we spend time on this.

Hm, most of them.
i recorded a video with two plugs i know that are raster, D16 and WavesFactory, i can try with other vector based i have.

D16 is smooth, Wavesfactory jerks a little.
Doesn't look like it's accuracy issue, the knobs are fairly smooth if i move them with a mouse, seems like redraw FPS is low. (which i guess conserves cpu), but an option would be nice.
when i automate and hide the interface its not an issue, but when directly controlling with MIDI i'm always unsure whether my computer is bogged down or its the UI lag.

happens on non-hidpi resolution as well
