This seems like it would be more useful than the actual BOOM libraries APD has right now - unless you do game music. What do you think? I really have spent too much this month and shouldn't be looking at it at all.Feelshallright wrote:Yes I tried the code and it's working. Already have it, with the Boom sounds, it's really great to play inside this engine.Fleer wrote:Anyone got this email as well and used the code?
“We have an APD insider exclusive deal from BOOM Library, in collaboration with Sample Logic, you will be interested in.
Trailer Xpressions II - The BOOM Experience is being offered at a huge 50% discount. That's $149.99 instead of $299.99 (you save $150)!
This is a limited time offer which expires Wednesday, July 11th at midnight.
Here is the code to redeem this offer:
TX2-50OFF”

Does is have a good selection of sounds? I see it has explosions and weapons. I wouldn't mind a gun shot sound, but I don't need a whole set of them, if that makes sense.
And? somewhere in a box in my spare room is a very old set of sound effects records that were actually really good when they first came out. I keep saying I am going to transfer them to digital, but it hasn't happened yet.

There's a nice variety of sounds. If you want a preview, here's a detailed one:Fleer wrote:Here’s a perspective on those Boom Library sounds inside Trailer Xpressions II:dzilizzi wrote:LOL! Thanks! I listened and decided the best part was the bonus. And? I would be better off with the Boom library APD deal.Feelshallright wrote:There's a nice variety of sounds. Dang! Four of my favorite developers. Here go the holidays ...shonky wrote:https://audioplugin.deals/
Mega-deal, 19 instruments for $189 from Gospel Musicians, Dream Audio Tools, Frozen Plain and Chocolate Audio but you can select just bundles from each manufacturer or individual products too at pretty steep discounts (e.g Neo-Soul Keys & Bassalicious for $59.99 or $49.99 & $24.99 each respectively vs $99 & $199 list price).
Already got Bassalicious, so maybe get that unique Neo-Soul Keys Studio for $49 and the Frozen Plain bundle for $29 plus the Dream Audio Tools bundle for $49? Heck.

And then Yamaha came out with Vocaloid 5 (which is now Mac compatible and the demos sound really, really nice). That is going to eat up my budget.
