Is there any chance at all that for your plugins that can load other 3rd party plugins (like Axiom, patchwork, etc) that loading 3rd party plugins can happen via a list that can be organized vs dropping you into the VST or component folder?

I have a lot of plugins, which thankfully in my DAW show up in categories like Dynamics, Distortion, Modulation, etc. Or at the very least show up by manufacturer. But even better, in my daw I've setup my own custom lists and organization which makes finding plugins I want to use very quick and easy. However when I load plugins in Axiom, it simply goes to my component or VST folder. So unless I know specifically the component name for the plugin I'm are looking for, it becomes a real pain. With this system I cannot quickly browse through my different distortion plugins for example, I have to think about each specific plugin I want to use and then search by name for the component which either starts with the company name (like PSP) or the plugin name, and I dont know which one until I start to search, which immediately zaps my creative energy.

I know this might come across as a petty thing, but to me its important as speed and easy access is everything when trying to be "in the moment." I'm assuming since this is not in the product that there must be some technological limitation that makes this impossible to implement? Or are other users somehow getting by just fine without a DAW style plugin loading system? To me it is a huge workflow killer and makes me wonder if these plugins are not for me? :?

Once you have loaded a plug-in in Axiom, PatchWork, Late Replies or MB-7 Mixer, you can save it so that it appears next time in the menu (see the demo of the save as command below). You can even save the same plug-in with multiple configurations if you want and organize the plug-ins with folders:

We may add a scanner to automatically generate a tree structure for you in the future, but it's not ready for the moment because of the faulty behavior of so many third party plug-ins.

Anyway, with this feature, you should already be able to create your own organization of plug-ins and load them quickly.

This is a nice work around. Of course it will take a few hours to setup, which is a bit of a drag, but thankfully its an option!

Quick question: I see I can create folders which is great. Is subfolders supported? For example I create a user folder called "dynamics," then add a subfolder within this folder called "compressors?" If so, is there a limit to the amount of subfolders? Asking because I've had other plugings go nuts when creating subfolders and dont want to risk it if its not supported.

As far as I know there is no limit for this either :)
