I was searching something to replace IIEQ as my all purpose EQ, but I've concluded that I don't need another plugin because IIEQ is still awesome and low CPU.
So, my vote goes to IIEQ.

Had a big test of most in the list recently and found ReaEq and Reafir the best. (honest, not being a Reaper fanboy here)
SonEQ is good for character but more limited obviously. IIEQ is great too as is EasyQ, a shame the latter was forgotten on the list..

Use BaxterEQ and CleanSweep on pretty much everything i mix. I also do use others on that list from time to time but if i had to pick one it would easily be BaxterEQ Free or Not

He he
There are many good and excellent free eq's. It all comes down to personal preferences due to GUI, functionality and of course most important sound matters and vary. I find it a little funny that many good eq's is left out and there are FOUR Sir Elliot eq's in the poll. Hidden PR agenda here?

I know what my favorite EQ is:http://audioteknikk.net/index.php?optio ... emid=9#DPE
64 bit and over sampled audio processing, analogish curves and a lot of sexy features. I have to admit a little high CPU usage.

Sir Elliot is from NY. I'm from Portugal.
I know this poll is incomplete, but i'm sure you understand it's almost impossible to know them all!
