https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y3IGL61JNDAIn which I introduce a project I have been working on for the past four months - Wires, a faithful VST/AU/AAX model of a soviet secret service and military wire recorder. It sound as close as possible to the haunting original, but we adapted it for use as a creative musical effect. Soft echoes, broken dreams, the sound of numbers stations and hauntology. Wires shines both in music and post-production

Seems like Mr. Hainbach is making some more Noise in the #vst - universe.

Jumped right onto this without even watching the whole video or trying a demo myself... this sort of effect in general is the way to my heart, and this one seems a bit special
There's no "or" here, get both

Beautiful - I've never heard the real thing it's emulating but it really does sound like an old, broken piece of analogue gear in the box!

... just demoing it... here's a little noodling through it... very nice lofi sound. reminds me of my early recordings in the 80s when I was using radio shack mixers and cassette decks for recording, along with Echoplexes which were my delay of choice back then...

It's been a busy morning, but I got around to trying it for a bit and it's every bit as good as I expected/hoped
