DDMF and HoRNet offer VST chord detection.
viewtopic.php?t=493721
They display the chords that are playing but do not change midi or audio into the chord it shows, Studio One 4’s does.
Machine music, or a composition tool?
Is the chord it shows a suggestion or what's been played?
A little music theory goes a long way.
T=Tone=2 steps S=Semitone=1 Step (½)
2½ 3½
2½=Tones 3½=Tones
2½=TTS 3½ Tones TTTS
TTS TTTS
CDEFGAB
1234567
C E G
1 3 5
To find the chords/triads count up 3 & 5 from the root
Could render to audio.

The only thing I think you can even come close to comparing it to is melodyne studio.
