Alright!
I’ll be in charge of the GUI.

Let’s get Steve Duda in on this project.

at least we'll know the origin of that viral pandemic

What a great name: Pandemic!
It will have every feature from every other DAW, like a massive infection!

It will still result in people asking "Have you tried Reaper?"

So, Bitwig and Ableton Live have the best GUI's.

*cringes*

We should quickly make a "Best DAW" poll and compare the results with this one. ;)

How about a «Best DAW shortcut icon» poll.

I see poll is now over, but really, bitwig the best GUI? Just took a look and looks like a colored Live to be honest. I've been using ableton live for years and what bugged me was that there was no separate mixer window. I think that come later in v9, maybe even 10. I now use mainly Cubase, used it in the past but not as much, but what I really like about it the mixer and other windows can be open separately. And the GUI is nice too.

As someone already said, it's mostly down to preference and what have you learned to work with. I for one I'm not too fond of Logic, it's essentially similar to Cubase but I just don't like the looks of it. Same with Protools, again, a DAW of choice for a lot big guns studios but doesn't speak to me.

my 2 cents.

PS: looking forward to the KVR DAW,

You do understand the concept of public poll, right? It's not about what YOU think, but about what MAJORITY thinks. And also is not that much ahead of other DAWs in top-5, definitely within the range of statistical error for such a small sample.

Not as flexible as Cubase (or Bitwig, indeed) but there's that at least:
