Is there a possibility to do a "reverse-note dispatcher"?

Hey all,
I am wondering: We have so many ways to split a single midi input into different outputs.
There should be at least ONE a way to do the reverse of this.
(i.e. switch between two or more inputs to a single output, I am not talking about merging here.)
I just can't figure out how to do a switch between two midi inputs that go to a single output.
Basically a reversed note dispatcher.
Any ideas? Should be easy, as it is in other modular enviroments, but I can't find anything...
Any way to workaround with some cabling/modules?
Best,
tL.

I don't think it is possible using the existing modules.
Maybe you can try Cockos' ReaJS as external VST. With a little JS programming you can do anything you want with MIDI...

For midi inputting as notes , it can be made to target a single rack by putting the midi output to GsWavetableSynth and simply clicking on the rack you want, to switch between two devices, both entering midi input as notes is hard to achieve.
But if its about using midi inputs as modulation controls, it is pretty much possible.

Thanks again. Right now I just map the incoming midi to a multi-channel stream
and have a channel filter/switcher inbetween. Simplest solution I have so far that works with eveything and is very flexible.
