Any hints on better latency? I've got a sound blaster card, can't do any better than 32 ms. Makes it hard to use a keyboard to add midi tracks.

And which of the 657 different models of the soundblaster exactly?
Most of them will go down to 12ms, which isn't too bad actually.
I'll give you a hint anyway: get another soundcard. Make sure this time its not a "Creative" card.

I believe you should get lower with one of these general ASIO drivers:
KX Project
ASIO 4 ALL
ASIOX
The final glitch-free latency is dependant of your system specs (processor, bus speed, OS etc.).
Another option is to get a better soundcard, I'm running the Audiophile on a steady 6 ms latency, and there are cards that go below this so shop around.
