Hi
I've been a long term user of tracktion, I've come across some strange behaviour to do with one project. I gues it is most likely a corrupted edit, but it is odd none the less. I only work with Audio clips and I was messing round with some of the clips in my smallish edit (making bootleg mash ups a la Philip) when the strange behaviour occured. If i tried to click on the end of a clip to shorten/lengthen it, the play position cursor would skip back ten bars of so, and i couldn't click on the clip. Another odd thing was when i tried to click on a copy of a clip, the cursor would jump to the original veersion, never allowing me to click on the copy itself. Also, it seems certain combinations of Ctrl and cursor movement would send the cursor mental and it would rush down to the start menu (I am using XP) and open a couple of explorer windows to do with the start menu, very odd. Like I said, it looks to me like a corrupted edit, but i thought i should let you guys know about it.
Rupert

Weird.. have you tried exporting the edit as an archive, and re-opening in a new project?

I've have this happen when the option to "reset the cursor when stopping playback" (or something like that) is enabled. Drives me nuts too...prupert wrote:If i tried to click on the end of a clip to shorten/lengthen it, the play position cursor would skip back ten bars of so, and i couldn't click on the clip.
