Anyone having any luck with Audigy 2 zs cards in Tracktion/asio? I tour a little bit for a living, and I'm taking out my xpc as opposed to a laptop. but i've as of late been using an EMU 0404, which i really like. Great sound, basic! BUT, you get all these cords hanging out the back. Lethal in a bus, or traveling in general. An audigy 2 zs was like $60 from newegg, and has built in headphone 1/8" that you can crank a little... but will it work? LOL I mean have they got their asio *hit together yet? OR could i use it in Sonar via wdm with luck? Thanks ahead of time!

Sure it will work! I think in this case latency and sound quality are not the top priority.
Most people are not aware, but Tracktion can also use DirectSound drivers instead of Asio.
And for the Audigy there are a lot of alternative Asio drivers available: Asio4All, KXProject, AsioX... One way or the other, you will get a working setup.

I use the Audigy 1 with the KX drivers and I love it(on my PC or course). Alot of people will criticize for using Audigy, but I have had nothing but good from it. I have low latency and decent quality. And with the KX drivers, I can get around some of the limitations of the Creative ASIO drivers.
