Well, after a couple weeks of lurking the forums and fiddling for the demo, I just up and bought T1. This is the first sequencing program I bought, BTW. So far I'm loving it
I had meant for some time to record my Greatest Hits, I'm sure T will be a big help here... for good or evil.
Note to Mackie: the main reasons why I ended up buying Tracktion and not, say, Blah Home Studio, were:
1) Non-crippled demo available -- this, and the fact that the demo didn't crash or froze, was a big selling point
2) Supports drivers other than ASIO -- so I could test it on a plain vanilla PC.
3) No silly limits on number of tracks, VSTi's, etc.
This is a great forum, BTW! I'll be sharing perplexities with y'all frequently.
