How do you reckon?? When you click on the links there is no muzys.com site hosting the files so get ready for abig dose of disappointment.LBN wrote:You can still download skins from the Internet Archive version of the Muzys page:

Muzys is a bad-ass machine for sure and I picked up a 3.14 version 2nd hand and am all gooey with it.
As discouraging as it is that there is no future for it I still get some good from it.

Hmmm... the zips are still downloadable. Some of them seem corrupted but there are some that are OK. Did you even bother to check the links?sdv wrote:How do you reckon?? When you click on the links there is no muzys.com site hosting the files so get ready for abig dose of disappointment.

BTW, I was able to repair the corrupted ones using WinRAR.

When I tried it I really, really liked the MIDI side of things, it's probably the best in its price range for controlling external MIDI equipment (much better than Tracktion, Live, or Samplitude).VanLichten wrote:Anyone in for praise ?

But nothing else about it impressed me much, well, not enough to drop Logic anyway.

Hello Muzys Fans,
I'm honnored to see that Muzys is still in your hearts, and on your harddisks
Know that i'm following these Muzys threads with a clear eye.
I would love to give you more info and news on what happened with Muzys,
but as you might already know, i'm bound by an NDA, and i'm still not allowed
to give you any more info
It's frustrating for me too that you are left in the dark!
And although that's out of my control, i apologize for that.
I'll certainly learn from what happened.
Anyway, i'm doing the best i can to return to the virtual studio world
with creative, innovative and fun2use products.
But i still cannot make much promises at this point because of dependencies.
I hope to have more explicit news for you in the second quarter of this year.
Meanwhile, i'll keep on watching the forums, and wherever necessary and possible,
i'll help you to get the most out of your Muzys.
Best regards,
Jo

Many Thanks for the archive links, some download seem to work !
About Muzys i really really like its midi and automation features, the synth, and the mixing console - all works great and you dont get this toyish feel like the other Virtual Studios with fiddly optical imitations of cheap bad mixers (Orion...)
It takes some time to get used to it, but if you have it, you can work very fluent with it - you just recognize that the developer hadn't start from zero like all these other cheap hosts.
I never come to grips with Logic - for me its the worst host ever - though probably very powerful, if you understand it.
Cheers, Richard

I have the demo, is there any way to register it? And for how much?

Glad to hear that you are still with us, Jo.
And we are all looking forward to find out what new program you have in the works.
I know I'll be anxiously awaiting more details in the second quarter of this year.

Hello, I'm an old (but still) Orion user, and a new Tracktion user. However, I'm glad to see that Musys is not really dead.
I have tried Musys long ago, and I remember I loved it's approach of the Virtual Studio. But my money was in Orion (and I don't regret it).
I jst hope future will be shiny for you Musycians...
And I hope Jo will tell us about it's experience with a big (?) company...
