I certainley do not hope so but this answer makes me think that T2 is more than a few days from it's release?

I can't find it on the site, where is it?
I do think that the RMIV will come bundled with T2, but when they haven't even signed a contract yet, i guess Mackie can't start shipping T2 which in turn means that we'll have to wait a bit more....

I'm actually quite looking forward to the bundled plugins now.
I didn't want them at first, but even if a slimline no-plugins version was available, I'd probably still go for the full version.
Perhaps some of the wrangling about 3rd-party contracts is delaying T2 a little bit.

Man! Does that page show a big difference in the appearance of Tracktion and those other guys, or what?

didn't that one already get answered?
There was a whole thread's worth of "they'll never give away all the kits" followed by Beno posting "we are intending to include all of the kits."
Assuming the negotiations pan out (given that PeteLinPlug suggested things weren't a completely done deal) I can't see any reason to assume otherwise...

It's a bit frustrating. I look at this are say "wow that's worth it on it's own!!!!"
But thinking.......rmiv.........149........tracktion (still don't know what the upgrade price is) 199 list
If you really do the math.......I feel it's too good to be true to get rmiv AND all kits/all midi.
BTW, I tried the demo and was underwhelmed. What I really wanted to try was the groove section to see if it was "something"
Only three were included...................

I think the point on pricing is that - like with Acuma Final Mix - the RMIV that comes bundeled will only work in T2, and not be able to be used in other software, which limits its value considerably from Linplug's point of view, while promoting T2 as a complete solution to its owners.

Which bit of "Beno already said that is what they intend to do" are you not getting?eyeknow666 wrote:I feel it's too good to be true to get rmiv AND all kits/all midi.
If the plugin only works in Tracktion, which is the standard approach to these kinds of deals (just like FinalMix if you think about it) LinPlug are bot losing out in any way.
The worse thing abot the incessant speculation on this forum of late is that no-one even takes the time to read other posts before repeating myth.

I beleive the technical term for that is "myth mongering"!valley wrote: The worse thing abot the incessant speculation on this forum of late is that no-one even takes the time to read other posts before repeating myth.
