Hi everybody,
i've been a tracktion user on mac for the last 4 months,
it's a great program, but i have two major bugs
one is the vertical scroll bar bug:
if you drag the vertical scroll bar all the way up a bit abruptly all your tracks disapear up under the time ruler as well as the ins and the scroll bar so there is nothing left to grab to pull everything back down
all you can do is play and stop
but you can't access or see your tracks
it happened a few times and it didn' t matter but this time i spent endless hours editing a radio program that i have to hand in tomorrow and all my tracks have disapeared the mix is not done, i'm in helljavascript:emoticon(':x')
please if someone knows about this or understand any of it
please help
please
thanks
gsn

? Never had that occur, never heard anyone say it occured (but that doesn't mean much). I'd say just avoid it. Sorry! And good luck with your program!
Edit: did you try to save your mix and then shut down tracktion and restart it?

open the trkedit file for your edit in a text editor, and set the tracktop= value to "0"
It'll probably be "NAN" rigth now.

dont know about the bug / issue ...
... but as a quick rescue (depending on the type of editing you need to do) ...
... can you not render the whole project as it is ... create a new edit ... import the rendered file and split that clip to edit as necessary ???

GOOD call ... or even the 'fit all tracks in view' option ...Lunch Money wrote:I don't suppose pressing the tracks button and selecting "set all tracks to default height" helps?

The disapearing mac edit bug is definitely fixed for T2. Haven't had it happen for a long time now.

Nope. I just remember Jules posting a fix for it way back in the day.pHz wrote:sounds like the voice of experience ?!?
(the only thing I have a good memory for is forum posts and conversations - I'd forget my own bloody name if people didn't keep shouting it at me)
