Where is the cheapest place to by tracktion (Latest version)
Oh and when does Tracktion 2 come out ?

Your best bet, as far as I know, is to purchase it from Mackie.
If you buy it online, it's $80. Apparently the RRP is around $149(??).
I'm not actually sure if the current version of Tracktion is available from any other distributer. Probably best to see if Beno or someone can reply. But I think the only way you could get it cheaper is second hand / licence transfer.
Tracktion 2 is scheduled for early March.
I'd recommend getting Tracktion before T2 comes out as you'll (reputedly) get a good discount.

tracktion 1 is a downloadable product so location of the distributor shouldnt be an issue ???
T2 will be a boxed product although possibly (probably ??? ) available in a download version too ...

I don't think there was a boxed version of T1. I bought (several times for different schools, etc) from the RMS and subsequently the Mackie website.threadders wrote:Is there a Mackie in the UK ?

The exchange rate of £ vs $ is very good as you no doubt know, so you should find your bank bill you for about £42-43 at present.

put a WTB: Tracktion thread in the market place forum, looks like a lot of people are selling for $40 Us,I purchased a used copy and its perfectly leagal and ok with mackie(I checked and got an email confirmation form tech)
