:( I've tried to arrive at a word that would describe my music and electronica fits very well.
Am I behind the times ? What's wrong with that description ? ( just asking for education purposes, ahem.. )

heh, I wish! I thought more trainspotters would realise that mine and Farlukar's posts are a quote from the intro to "frequencies" by LFO

the term electronica does seem to have wider acceptance now, but during the 90's it was kind of a crude term used mostly by americans who weren't that familiar with dance culture or it's many subgenres to describe just about any kind of dance music, whether it was drum'n bass or IDM...

Actually, almost everything electronic was called "techno" in America during the early 90's. And then Madonna invented that word "electronica".

But real electronic fans in Chicago (House), Detriot (Techno), & Miami (Bass) knew better. 8)
