Computer Music p009 --> Version 2 is du eout in March, review in the next issue.

(Maybe this is old news, I don't read all the posts in the RMS forum).

Also Music Tech Magazine 24 / March 2005, p 009:
"The new update of Tracktion [...] a suite of plugins [...]. Tracktion 2 is expected to begin shipping in early March... Today is the last day of early March, right? ;)

No, March 14 is. ;)

Besides, "expected to be" is not the same as "guaranteed/promised to be"

lol. anyway I like it when the products I use are mentioned in the magazines as well (even if it's just advertising, like the large at of SaxLab on the backpage).

But for the 67bit internal bus and the special insert-send-racks in T2 we can wait a bit more :)

67bit audio engine ???

thats gonna be REAL special !!!

slainte :P rob

Post

Yeah, but I want it NOW!!!!!!
Common........I know everyone thinks (oh shut up) BUT we have been waiting since sept with the "jules is really outdoing himself" comment.
It's hard to be patient..........and I still don't know/can't find ANY information about upgrade/"do we need to get the boxed set" info :(
Let's be realistic, if you use tracktion 90% of the time (me) you are just dying of last breath for the update.........(pant pant)! :D

68? I thought it has to be a prime number? Just like 32?

btw... one of the older computers, I think it was Dec 2040, worked with 56 bit or something like that... not a power of 2 and not a prime number either :)

69 is my favorite number.. why not use that?

Don't ask me, ask Jules...

btw, now that you're in this thread: on page 59 of Music Tech March 05 is an interview with the famous ring tone designer / Head programmer of 3rd Ear Prod. Ltd. :D

For T2... the biggest feature and the one I'd pay full upgrade price for is simply audio loop recording. As a crappy vocalist and a mediocre lead guitarist, it's badly needed.

:D

If I remember well from the Feb contest, both are not really true... So there must be a real reason for wanting T2 that you're hiding for us?

Post

well, if you are like me.......it'll just be allot of loops of bad shit! (sonar 4 test drive.......it's a trip...........)

I hope it's not like sonar3 where all the loops are hidden and you can't decern them (is he speculating again???????????)

I guess at this point............7 months waiting.....I just hope I get it and can get in "touch" with it before jamstix comes out.........with my luck they will release the same day and I'll have to hijack the neighbors comupter as well as both of mine to do downloads!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

horses for courses ...

... for me the biggie will be easier MIDI editing with an improved piano roll ...
