is midi studio rewire-able???
damn, should really consider this buy...

I've also read that FL Studio 5 has a very good stretch feature. But that's $149 instead of Magix at $80.

Yeah, but updates are free while Magix every new version is full price, and Midi studio has to be the buggiest piece of software I ever used in my life, and forget about update or even bugfixes. Audio studio is cool thought.

Only Acid Pro can use Re-Wire. Acid Express and Acid Music Studio won't. Check out this Acid comparison chart.

I know it may be a bit pricey but phatmatik pro is hands down the BEST beatslicer and stretcher by far I have ever used. The interface is easy and very intuitive and it is very stable, cross platform like Tracktion and works in just about every plugin format you can think of. Really a brilliant piece of software.
